Who doesn’t love the idea of a gleaming and healthy white smile?

Unfortunately eating and drinking too many highly colored foods can stain and discolor teeth. Top culprits include coffee, tea, red wine and sodas. Teeth naturally darken as part of the ageing process but you don’t need to put up with a dingy smile. If your teeth have lost their sparkle, we can help.

Often restoring your smile to its former glory may be as simple as having a professional whitening treatment. Simply Smiles uses top quality whitening products that can produce amazing results.

Safely and Effectively Whiten Your Teeth

If you have ever tried over-the-counter whitening kits then you’ll already know that these are ineffective and in the worst case could even damage your teeth. By choosing a professional whitening treatment, you’ll find your smile will look good for longer and most importantly treatment will be safe. Every treatment is fully customized to minimize side-effects while providing the results you desire. In-office treatments are excellent for providing quick results, but we find many patients prefer our home whitening kits.

Our Home Whitening Kits are Fully Customized

Simply Smiles is able to offer fully customized home whitening kits. Our take-home whitening kits can produce great results and it will typically take around two weeks to complete treatment. These whitening kits use a lower strength whitening gel so teeth need to be exposed for a longer period of time. We find this whitening treatment is very popular as the results will be just as long-lasting as in-office treatments but at a significantly reduced cost. Sometimes patients choose to purchase one of our home whitening kits so they can top up the results in between in-office treatments.

Whitening your teeth more slowly can also be much more comfortable if you have sensitive teeth.
Each home whitening kit contains custom-made trays that are fabricated using an impression of your teeth. This ensures the trays will fit closely over your teeth so the whitening gel cannot leak out. All you need do is fill the whitening trays with our advanced tooth whitening gel (we will show you how much to use), and you can either wear them for as little as 30 minutes twice a day, or some people choose to wear them overnight. Within just a few days you should have a brighter, whiter smile.

Is Teeth Whitening Right for Everyone?

Teeth whitening can produce spectacular results, but if you have white fillings, crowns or veneers then these restorations will not change color. Tooth whitening treatments may not work as well on teeth that are internally stained and you might need to consider covering up these teeth completely with veneers. In order to ensure your whitening treatment is safe, we strongly suggest you have an initial consultation with our dentist Dr. Kira Gekht. After examining your mouth, Dr. Gekht can discuss your whitening options and the results that can be safely achieved so you will be able to choose the best treatment for a whiter smile.

How Long Will Professional Teeth Whitening Last?

This very much depends on your lifestyle habits, as well as genetics and your age. The results of a whitening treatment can last anywhere from six months to 2 years but eventually all teeth will darken. You can prolong the results by quitting smoking and it can help to cut down on your consumption of highly colored foods and drinks. Making sure you maintain good oral health combined with regular dental check-ups and cleanings will all help to keep your teeth looking their best in between treatments.
